WHAT IS FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR?
THE FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR IS A TERMINAL DEVICE THAT USES AN ELECTRIC FIELD TO CONTROL THE CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH THE DEVICE.
THE THREE TERMINALS OF THE FET ARE KNOWN AS GATE, DRAIN, SOURCE.
IT IS A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED DEVICE, WHERE THE INPUT VOLTAGE CONTROL THE OUTPUT CURRENT.

फेट एक वोल्टेज कंट्रोल्ड डिवाइस है,
इसके तीन टर्मिनल होते है .
जिसे GATE, DRAIN, SOURCE. कहते ह
APPLICATION OF FETs :
1. Amplifier.
2. Oscillator.
3. Analog Switch.
4. Integrated Circuits.
5. Buffer Amplifiers.
फेट के काम है ये एम्पलीफिकेशन और स्विचन और प्रोटेक्शन और ऑक्सीलेटर के काम करता है
The FET is a unipolar device.
The input impedance of FET is very high.
The power consumption in FET is less.
In size the FETs are very small.
Thermally FETs are more stable.
there are many types of FETs.
But mainly there are two types of FETs.
1. JFET ( Junction on field effect transistor )
1. N CHANNEL.
2. P CHANNEL.
2. IG-FET ( Insulated Gate Field Effect Transistor)
MOSFET ( Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor )
The MOSFET can be further classified into 2.1 depletion - type MOSFET.
